Method
- Soak the channa dal in 2 cups of water for 2 hrs.
- Grind it coarsely .
- With this add salt , yoghurt , chopped green chillies and ginger and turmeric powder.
- Add baking soda and oil in the end.
- Pour the batter in the greased flat dish.
- Steam cook for 1o min or till the skewer comes out clean.
- Cut into squares and decorate with coriander leaves and chilli powder.

Hi Kamala, my first visit here. Your dhokla recipe is so simple and they've turned out perfect. 've always tried making it with chickpea flour (besan) and Eno salts. Never quite turned out right. Will try this. Am adding your blog to my foodie blog list :-)
